The all-new Jeep Wrangler is flying off dealer lots, since Jeep has announced that the new Wrangler had its best sales month ever, last month with 29,776 units sold. April was also the second consecutive month of record sales for the Wrangler.
The Jeep Wrangler helped push the Jeep brand’s sales to 82,641 vehicles in April, cementing its place at the top of all the Chrysler brands. The Jeep Compass also helped, since its sales tripled last month to 11,521 units.
Jeep’s sales are likely to continue to rise as the new Wrangler ramps up. We’re still waiting for Jeep to release the diesel-powered Wrangler and of course we’re all excited to see the Jeep Wrangler pickup. Jeep recently stopped production of the last-generation Wrangler to make room for the new Wrangler pickup. We’re about 11 months away from the arrival of the Wrangler pickup, since it will reportedly arrive in April 2019.
