Buick has unveiled the updates to the 2019 Envision crossover, which gets styling updates, a more powerful powertrain and more features. On the outside you’ll notice refreshed front and rear fascias, which Buick describes as more sculpted, plus there are some new wheel options.
Under the hood the 2.0L turbo four-cylinder engine now generates 252 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The four-cylinder is also mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission.
“Some of the 2019 Envision’s most notable changes are the results of listening to our customers,” said Elizabeth Pilibosian, Envision chief engineer. “Beneath the updated exterior are a number of changes guided by a goal of offering the most refined and pleasant driving experience possible.”
Inside there are several enhancements, like a better rear vision camera, improved hands-free microphone for better call quality and better voice recognition, seat heaters that warm up more quickly and wireless charging for your phone. An in-vehicle air ionizer has been added to help eliminate odors and reduce bacteria.
Pricing for the 2019 Buick Envision starts at $32,990.
