Buick is getting ready to introduce two new electrified vehicles in China – the Velite 6 plug-in hybrid and Velite 6 electric vehicle. Both new models are based on the Velite concept that debuted back in 2016.
Buick has released this teaser of the Velite 6 PHEV, but no other big details have been released. Both the Buick Velite 6 plug-in hybrid and electric vehicle will be powered by Buick’s eMotion electric propulsion technology. The Velite 6 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle will feature a high-performance hybrid electric vehicle propulsion system, while the Velite 6 electric vehicle will be powered by an all-new battery electric vehicle propulsion system.
Buick hasn’t announced when the Velite 6 models will debut, but it’s expected that the covers will be taken off later this month.
