It looks like Bugatti is getting ready to expand its lineup beyond just the Chiron, since Bugatti CEO Stephan Winkelmann recently hinted that the brand is ready for a second model.

During the reveal of the Bugatti Divo last month at Pebble Beach, Winkelmann hinted to Autocar that Bugatti is ready to expand its lineup, which might include a new SUV. “It’s clear that if we do something different from a super-sports car like the Chiron, then it would not be enough just to be in love with one type of car.”

Autocar asked Winkelmann if the second Bugatti would be a sedan or an SUV, in which he replied, “We would look at every bodystyle and regional demand and not put our money into something that is fading.”

The fact that Winkelmann stated that Bugatti is not interested in creating a vehicle in segment that is “fading” suggests that Bugatti will likely introduce an SUV, instead of a four door sedan. The sedan segment has been fading recently, since buyers now prefer crossovers and SUVs over the traditional three-box sedan.
