BMW is reportedly going to reveal a hotter version of the M2, called the M2 Competition in just a few weeks. BMW hasn’t confirmed the report, but according to BimmerToday, the BMW M2 Competition is going to get a nice horsepower bump and a few other goodies when it debuts at the Beijing Motor Show next month.

Under the hood BMW’s 3.0L six-cylinder has been massaged a bit to give it 410 horsepower, which is up from 365. The engine will also generate over 368 lb-ft. of torque. Expect a 0-60 mph time around four seconds, although the M2 Competition’s top speed will be electronically limited to 155 mph.

The M2 Competition will stand out from the standard M2 with more aggressive front and rear fascias. Stay tuned for more details in a few weeks. If you can’t wait for the M2 Competition, BMW recently unveiled the limited M2 Coupe Edition Black Shadow.
