Kia has released the first two photos of the all-new 2019 Kia K900 flagship sedan, which looks a bit more upscale than before, but also a bit more boring. The 2019 K900 is bigger and wider than before, but its new styling takes a more elegant approach than Kia’s more exciting sedan, the Stinger.

The 2019 Kia K900 has grown a bit, with its wheelbase being stretched 2.3 inches , while both the front and rear overhangs are shorter, pushing the wheels further out to the corners of the car. Designed by Kia’s teams in Namyang, Korea and Irvine, California, the 2019 K900 features a more modern minimalist-like design that’s more elegant than its predecessor. The new Quadric pattern signature grille is the focal point of the K900 with its 176 jewel-like cells.

Inside the minimalist theme continues with a more refined and luxurious cabin that wraps around the driver. The interior is bigger and more luxurious with additional soft-touch surfaces and more leather. A large 12.3-inch HMI screen sits on top of the dashboard. At the base of the center console, the driver can also use a manual dial to rotate through on-screen functions.

Kia hasn’t announced what engine options will be available, but it’s expected that it will get the same engines from the Genesis G90, which includes the 365 horsepower 3.3L twin-turbo V6 and the 420 horsepower 5.0L V8.

The 2019 Kia K900 will debut next week at the New York Auto Show.
