It looks like the BMW i3 electric car is at the end of its road, since a new report claims that BMW will end production in July.
BMW hasn’t officially made the announcement public, but it reportedly informed its dealers in a bulletin, which was found by BMWBlog. Last year when BMW said that it planned to ramp up production of the i3, but it looks like those plans changed. If you want one, you’ll probably have a hard time finding one, since inventory is already at its lowest point for the i3.
The death of the i3 isn’t too surprising, since BMW recently killed of the i8 as well. BMW is now focusing on its next-generation of EVs, which includes the iX and i4.
