BMW has unveiled the 2022 BMW X5 Black Vermilion Edition, which is a very special X5, since only 350 units will be sold in the United States. The limited-edition package gives the X5 a blacked out look with red accents.
The X5 Black Vermilion Edition is painted in Frozen Black Metallic paint and the kidney grilles get red vertical slats to make it stand out more. The adaptive LED headlights have also been darkened a bit. The M Sport package has also been added with its more aggressive front and rear bumpers. Lastly gets red M Sport brake calipers and Orbit Grey 22-inch wheels.
The X5 Black Vermilion Edition is based on the xDrive40i model. It is powered by a 335-hp six-cylinder that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Inside the red and black theme continues with red piping and stitching on the black leather seats. There’s also a special edition logo on the lid for the cupholders and glass controls for the shifter and drive mode selector.
The 2022 BMW X5 Black Vermilion Edition starts at $83,295, including destination.
