The BMW M5 continues to be one of the best high performance sedans you can buy and now it’s even better with the debut of the refreshed 2021 M5.

Under the hood the 2021 M5 is still powered by turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 that generates 600 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, and if you opt for the M5 Competition that power rating increases to 617 hp. The standard M5 accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds, while the M5 Competition reaches that speed in 3.1 seconds.

On the outside you’ll notice the M5 has slightly updated front and rear fascias. At the front the kidney grille is now a bit larger, while the front and rear bumpers are a bit more aggressive. The headlights have also been restyled with new L-shaped light tubes.

Inside the 2021 M5 features a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with standard navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also now wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The 2021 BMW M5 is slated to arrive in August and it starts at $104,495, including the destination fees.
