BMW has unveiled its lineup of M Performance Parts for the 2021 BMW 5 Series, M5 and M5 Competition models. The BMW M Performance Parts includes a long list of performance and visual upgrades for the brand’s midsize sedan.
The 2021 BMW 5 Series can be equipped with a bunch of new carbon fiber body parts, which includes the front splitter, rear diffuser, trunk-lid spoiler, side skirts, grille, mirror caps and fender vents. The interior isn’t left out either, since there are some carbon fiber parts for the inside of the 5 Series as well, like carbon fiber paddles. There are also some new wheel designs. The only performance upgrade for the 5 Series is a set of drilled brake rotors, but a better sounding muffler is also available.
The 2021 M5 also gets the same carbon fiber parts as the standard 5 Series, but new forged wheels are available and stripe accents. The M5’s performance can also be upgraded with a height-adjustable coilover suspension that can lower the M5 just over 3/4 of an inch. Better brake pads and a sportier exhaust are also available.
BMW has not announced the pricing for the M5’s M Performance Parts.
