While its not an M version of the new X2, BMW is getting us a little closer with the debut of the 2019 BMW X2 M35i. With 302 horsepower on tap, the X2 M35i can reach 60 mph in only 4.9 seconds.

The 2019 BMW X2 M35i is powered by a 2.0L TwinPower turbocharged engine, which is the very first M Performance 4-cylinder engine and also BMW’s most powerful production 4-cylinder version yet. The four-cylinder generates 302 hp and 332 lb-ft. of torque. The four-cylinder is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and the xDrive all-wheel drive system.

To set it apart from the rest of the X2 lineup, the 2019 BMW X2 M35i also gets M Performance elements finished in Cerium Grey and an aero kit based on the X2 M Sport Package. It also rides on unique 19-inch wheels, while larger 20-inch wheels are optional.
