We’re still a few months away from the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March, but BMW has just confirmed that the production version of the X4 crossover is going to debut at the show. The X4 is a more scaled down version of the X6, but it borrows its powertrains from the more traditionally styled X3.
BMW previewed the X4 with the X4 concept earlier this year. The production version will be about the same size as the X3, but its more coupe-like roofline will cut some of its headroom and luggage capacity. The X4 will be offered in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions. We can also expect it to be offered with the same 240-hp turbocharged four-cylinder and 300-hp six-cylinder engines as the X3.
Stay tuned…
