2015 BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe

Ever since the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe was unveiled we’ve been waiting to hear news about an M version. A BMW executive has revealed that the rumors about an M4 Gran Coupe were false as the automaker has no plans to build one.
“That is a negative,” BMW M sales boss Jörg Bartels recently stated when the M4 Gran Coupe was brought up. “It was definitely considered, but there is no plan to build an M4 Gran Coupe.”

Bartels told Carsguide that the reason that an M4 Gran Coupe isn’t going to happen is because of the expected low volume and also the fact that the 4-Series Gran Coupe is built at a different plant than the 3-Series and 4-Series, which would make it harder to build.

If you’re also wondering if an M version of the 3-Series Gran Turismo is in the future, Bartels also confirmed that there are no plans.
