Bentley is reportedly going to reveal a plug-in hybrid version of the Bentayga SUV at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. The Bentayga plug-in hybrid will be the electrified Bentley, which is just the start, since every Bentley will eventually be offered with a plug-in hybrid version.

Bentley hasn’t revealed any details, but it’s expected that the Bentayga plug-in hybrid will be powered by a 2.9-liter V-6 and an electric motor with a combined power output of 462 hp. The system will be closely related to the powertrain that powers the Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid. The Porsche can travel up to 30 miles on electric power alone.

Bentley’s outgoing CEO Wolfgang Duerheimer recently revealed to Automotive News that the next model to get an electrified powertrain will be the Continental GT, although he did not provide any timing.
