Bentley has pulled the wraps off the EXP 15, a stunning new design study that marks the debut of its next-generation styling language and the grand opening of its state-of-the-art design studio. The EXP 15 is not a production car, but rather a full-scale concept that fuses Bentley’s rich grand touring legacy with cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and an ultra-luxurious digital future. Think of it as Bentley’s love letter to what grand touring could look like in an all-electric era.

Bentley EXP 15

The EXP 15 channels the spirit of the 1930 Bentley Speed Six “Blue Train” coupe, famously raced by then-chairman Woolf Barnato, but it’s not stuck in the past. Its upright grille, impossibly long hood, and cab-rearward stance are pure GT theater, but those vintage cues are sculpted with futuristic surfacing, sharp lighting signatures, and active aerodynamic details that ground the concept firmly in the present.

At over five meters long, EXP 15 is dramatic from every angle. Signature Bentley design traits—like muscular rear haunches and a low, relaxed stance—are reimagined through what Bentley calls the five core design pillars for its future: Upright Elegance, Iconic Grille, Endless Bonnet Line, Resting Beast, and Prestigious Shield. Together, they give the EXP 15 a visual presence that’s simultaneously regal and radical.

There’s a light show too. The grille morphs into a piece of digital art with a vertical LED spine and quilted light pattern that pays homage to historic Bentley grilles. The ultra-slim headlights—four strips per side—are tucked just inside the fenders, while rear lighting reveals a three-dimensional diamond motif, framed by a distinctive tail section Bentley calls the “Prestigious Shield.” And yes, there are active aero elements, including twin deployable spoilers and a rear diffuser to help the massive GT slice through the air.

If the exterior is grand in form, the interior pushes luxury into a new dimension. Created entirely in virtual reality, the cabin layout features three seats and three doors—a deliberate move to prioritize exclusivity and indulgence for fewer occupants. The driver has their own dedicated entrance on the left, while the right side opens up like a futuristic coach door-meets-sky portal to reveal an opulent two-seat lounge experience.

The passenger seat swivels outward for easy entry and exit—a nod to “the art of arrival”—and can be repositioned based on mood: co-pilot mode, rear relaxation mode, or anything in between. Clever touches like fold-down footrests that double as pet or luggage compartments add function to the flair. And when the drive is over, the rear hatch opens to reveal hidden seats, a lamp, and a slide-out fridge, because of course the EXP 15 comes with its own luxury tailgate party.

Materials are as lavish as you’d expect from Bentley, but with a next-gen twist. There’s a damson-toned wool by Fox Brothers, 3D-printed titanium, illuminated silk jacquard textiles, and even a woven metal mesh called Acrylic Couture. The vibe blends natural textures with high-tech ambiance—especially when you add in active backlighting behind the cut-veneer diamond quilting.

Inside the cabin, Bentley’s designers aim to strike a balance between tactile charm and digital intelligence. A highlight is the ‘Mechanical Marvel’—a centerpiece clock-like device with illuminated, moving arms that can indicate everything from direction of travel to charge status, or simply serve as visual art.

The dash itself is a full-width digital surface that can melt away into veneer when you don’t need it. It’s a new take on Bentley’s rotating display, but on steroids. Bentley calls this UX philosophy “Magical Fusion”—the best of both mechanical craftsmanship and digital versatility, seamlessly blended for maximum impact.

Bentley EXP 15

While Bentley isn’t releasing performance specs, the EXP 15 is imagined as a fully electric, all-wheel-drive grand tourer with fast charging and long range—everything you’d expect from a future Bentley EV. It’s not a preview of the upcoming smaller electric Bentley due in 2026, but elements from this concept will clearly shape the design and tech DNA of that model and others to come.

The striking Pallas Gold exterior finish features an aluminum pigment that’s compatible with radar and LIDAR systems—underscoring the car’s future-ready design. It’s reflective, luxurious, and functional—a trifecta Bentley is clearly aiming for as it transitions into its electric future.

The EXP 15 is Bentley’s boldest design experiment yet, not just honoring its past but reshaping how we define luxury GTs in a digital, sustainable future. It blends the romanticism of long-distance travel with cutting-edge tech, distinctive form language, and sustainable materials that feel every bit as premium as they are progressive. Whether all of this makes it to production or not, one thing is clear: the future of Bentley is going to be as elegant as it is electrifying.
