Audi recently unveiled the stunning A6 E-Tron concept and now we’ve learned that the production version of the EV will debut in 2022 and enter production in 2023.
The Roadshow received the news from an Audi spokesperson that confirmed that the A6 E-tron is coming. It’s expected that the production version will stay pretty close to the concept.
When it arrives, the A6 E-Tron will be based on the new scalable Premium Platform Electric platform that has been developed by Audi and Porsche. We’ll have to wait and see the specs, but the concept is powered by two electric motors with 469 horsepower and 590 pound feet of torque. The A6 E-Tron concept also has a 435 mile range.
The A6 E-Tron won’t be the only new EV that Audi will reveal in 2022, since Audi has also confirmed the Q6 E-Tron will debut next year.
