Audi has announced that its first fully electric model, the e-tron SUV will have its world debut on August 30 at the Audi Summit in Brussels. The e-tron SUV is just the first of many electric models that Audi is planning as it hopes to sell 800,000 electrified vehicles a year by 2025.

Audi also recently confirmed that the e-tron SUV will be able to drive up to 248 miles on a single charge and that it will be the first electric car that’s capable of using a 150 kW charger. The faster charger will give driver’s the ability to charge the e-tron to most of its battery capacity in only 30 minutes.

We’ll likely have to wait until we get closer to the debut in August to hear about the e-tron’s powertrain. The concept version had two electric motors with a combined 496 horsepower, but the production version will likely be toned down a bit.
