Following Tesla’s debut last month of its electric Semi truck, several high profile companies have already placed reservations for the truck to reduce fuel costs and emissions. Last month companies like Walmart and J.B. Hunt placed reservations and now Anheuser-Busch has reserved 40 Tesla Semi trucks.

“At Anheuser-Busch, we are constantly seeking new ways to make our supply chain more sustainable, efficient, and innovative,” said James Sembrot, senior director of logistics strategy. “This investment in Tesla semi-trucks helps us achieve these goals while improving road safety and lowering our environmental impact.”

The latest Anheuser-Busch reservation brings the total reservations to at least 116 Tesla semi trucks, since it was unveiled last month.

Tesla expects to start production of the Tesla Semi in 2019.
