The 2016 RX’s exterior now has more angles and creases than the outgoing model. It’s face is highlighted by the large spindle grille and L-shaped LED headlights. On the side a sharp character line runs from the front fenders to the rear end and a floating roofline adds a bit more style. The 2016 RX now gets available 20-in wheels that can be customized with body color-matching inserts.
Inside there is more legroom for rear passengers and a panoramic moonroof should make it feel a bit more spacious. The rear seat passengers can also stay entertained with new available 11.6-in. dual screens affixed to the back of the front headrests.
The 2016 RX will be offered either as the RX 350 or the RX 450h hybrid. Both versions are powered by a 3.5L V6, while the hybrid version will get up to two electric motors to help improve its efficiency.
