Jeep has announced the pricing for the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which starts at $22,995. The polarizing Cherokee is the replacement for the Liberty and is built on an all-new platform that is also shared with the Dodge Dart. Although it is now based on a new car platform, Jeep claims that it will still offer the off-road capability that we expect from the brand, while also more fuel economy, more advanced safety and technology features.

The 2014 Jeep Cherokee is available in four different trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk. The Jeep Cherokee Sport model with a starting of $22,995 is powered by the new 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 184 horsepower and 171 lb.-ft. of torque that is mated to a new nine-speed automatic tranmission. It gets up t0 31 mpg and has a driving range of nearly 500 miles.

Stepping up to the Jeep Cherokee Latitude model will cost $24,495 and can be equipped with the optional 3.2-liter Pentastar V-6 engine which produces 271 horsepower and 239 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited model has a starting U.S. MSRP of $27,995 and the top of the line Cherokee Trailhawk starts at $29,495.
