Alfa Romeo just introduced the Stelvio SUV, but according to a new report, the brand is getting ready to unveil an even larger SUV next month. According to a report from Autocar, the new Alfa Romeo SUV will be revealed by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ boss Sergio Marchionne sometime in June.
The new larger Alfa Romeo SUV will have three rows of seats to provide space for up to seven passengers and will also be offered with a 48-volt mild hybrid powertrain. It will also share its platform with the smaller Stelvio. The new SUV will go on sale in late 2019.
In addition to the new SUV, Alfa Romeo is also readying a Giulia coupé that may be offered in two-and five-door versions, to help it compete with the Audi A5 and BMW 4 Series. The Giulia coupe will arrive in 2019 and according to reports a 641 horsepower 2.9L V6 is being developed for the Giulia lineup.
