According to sources, Alfa Romeo’s next introduction will be the Giulia Coupe, which will be the brand’s most powerful car yet. With up to 641 horsepower the Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe will easily beat its rivals, like the BMW M4 and Audi RS5.

Alfa Romeo Nero Edizione Giulia and Stelvio

Alfa Romeo has yet to confirm the reports, but sources claim that the Giulia Coupe will debut by the end of the year and go on sale in 2019. The coupe could revive the Sprint or GTV names and it will obviously be based on the Giulia sedan. Some of the styling differences besides the deletion of the two rear doors will be, a sleeker roofline and different rear quarter panels. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe may also get a slightly different face to help differentiate it from the sedan.

At the lower end of the lineup, the Giulia Coupe will feature the same powertrains as the sedan, including the 505-hp 2.9L V6 in the Quadrifoglio. The 2.9L V6 is also rumored to get a F1-style hybrid setup with an energy recovery system (ERS) that will not only make it more efficient, but also help it generate a healthy 641 horsepower.
