It’s been rumored that Alfa Romeo is working on a new smaller SUV that will slot in below the Stelvio in its crossover lineup, but Alfa Romeo hasn’t announced when we’ll see it. Well a new report claims that the new smaller Alfa Romeo SUV will debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show.
According to Autoblog.gr, Alfa Romeo will reveal a new compact crossover in Geneva. Sources claim that the compact crossover will ride on the same platform as the Jeep Renegade, instead of sharing its platform with the Stelvio.
Alfa Romeo isn’t confirming the rumors, but it did just release a hint about what it will reveal at the show, “Alfa Romeo will be at the Geneva Motor Show in full force with our award-winning lineup and something new up our sleeves as well,” stated Berj Alexanian, PR Manager – Alfa Romeo North America. “We’re excited to show everyone a taste of what’s next in the world of Italian performance and luxury. Stay tuned on March 5 to see a glimpse into the next chapter of Alfa Romeo’s legendary story.”
Alfa Romeo’s new compact crossover is only one of two new SUVs that Alfa Romeo is planning. A larger SUV is also in the works that will slot in above the Stelvio. A long wheelbase version of the Stelvio is also reportedly in the works.
