Sadly the Honda/ Acura NSX is dead, but it’s going to live on as a front-engined race car, the HSV-10 GT in Japan’s SuperGT championship.
The HSV-10 GT has been built to the 2010 GT500 regulations and is powered by a 500+ HP 3.4L V8 mated to a Ricardo sequential manual gearbox. Fortunately Honda had been working on the basis for this race car for two years. It’s just sad that we won’t ever see the actual NSX version.
Honda has yet to release the official specs for the HSV-10 GT (Velocity Sports Honda.)
