Although GM CEO Fritz Henderson has repeatedly stated that the Pontiac G8 would not be sold under another GM brand after Pontiac’s demise, Bob Lutz has reportedly stated it will. Bob Lutz recently stated that the Pontiac G8 will live on under the Chevy brand as the Chevy Caprice.
“The last time we looked at [the G8], we decided that we would continue to import it as a Chevrolet,” Lutz said. “It is kind of too good to waste.”
