Ford is really emphasizing how well its trucks work with the 2027 Super Duty Carhartt, a new package to make their strong pickup trucks even more long-lasting and useful.
This Carhartt is available for XLT Crew Cab 4×4 trucks with one rear wheel takes the capability and strength people already like and adding Carhartt’s style and materials.
Ford says this package is about being useful rather than fancy, though you’ll definitely notice the changes to how it looks. Outside, it has a dark painted grille, special 20-inch machined wheels, and subtle Carhartt details on the fender bits, lower doors and on the tailgate.
What’s more important is the truck comes with things for using in the real world: a Tough Bed spray-in liner, all-terrain tires and running boards for going off-road. The lower body graphics aren’t just decorative, they’re placed to shield from flying stones, mud, road salt and damage at the building site.
The Carhartt look is even stronger inside. The interior has cloth seats based on Carhartt’s famous Duck Canvas, and the seats and door panels have triple stitching. It’s a subtle way of saying this is for Super Duty owners who already have Carhartt gear.
Ford have also included durable, all-weather mats with the Carhartt name on, showing the inside is made to cope with dirty boots, tools and long work days.
This isn’t a luxury or cosmetic package, Ford are being genuine. The Super Duty Carhartt is for the people who currently use Super Duty trucks – builders, tradespeople, or anyone needing a truck that survives daily use.
It’s more about being in tune with the way buyers live their lives and expecting their truck to be as hardworking as they are, rather than being showy.
