Mercedes-Maybach has unveiled the refreshed 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. This top of the line, ultra luxurious sedan has design changes, a lot of new technology, and even more opportunities to make it your own. It will be in showrooms in the United States in the later part of 2026.

Looking at the exterior, the 2027 Maybach S-Class has a much more noticeable grille, it’s bigger now and has a glowing frame, and there are new details in the lighting and updated wheel styles. Mercedes-Maybach is giving people more ways to personalize their car, with new colors for the paint and different wheel choices. They even have new Manufaktur finishes if a buyer would like something really unique.

The inside is still all about how comfortable the back seat is, which is what a Maybach is for! The interior has been redesigned with new materials, more up to date trim, and Mercedes’ newest MBUX Superscreen. Those in the back have two 13.1 inch screens, improved controls and can have things like a fridge and champagne glasses, which shows how much the Maybach prioritizes luxury and being comfortable over speed.
A major change is the introduction of Mercedes-Benz’s new MB.OS system, and the Maybach is where it’s first appearing. This system gets improvements and new features using updates you get wirelessly, an AI virtual helper, and more sophisticated driver assistance, all thanks to a new way of organizing the computer systems.
The Maybach S 580 has a stronger, mild-hybrid V8 making 530 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. And for those who still want a classic engine for a flagship car, the top of the line Maybach S 680 will still have a 621 horsepower V12 engine.
Mercedes-Maybach has also improved the suspension. The Airmatic system is changed to respond to the road surface, and it uses information from other cars to do this, making the ride even smoother.
