The eighth generation Lexus ES is now on sale and its pricing starts at $50,090. Lexus has announced that the fully electric ES is arriving first, followed by the hybrid version.
Buyers will be able to choose from several versions, in addition to electric or hybrid. The 2026 ES 350e is powered by a single electric motor and is front-wheel drive (FWD), while the ES 500e has dual electric motors. There will only be one hybrid version, the ES 350h. The hybrid ES 350h has a higher starting price than the electric version with a price tag starting at $52,290.
The ES 350e has a driving range up to 307 miles, while the ES 500e has a range up to 276 miles.
Both electric models have the NACS charge port and it can take only 28 minutes to charge it from 10-80 percent using a Level 3 charger.
