Nissan is celebrating the legacy of the Z with the debut of the 2026 Nissan Z Heritage Edition, a new package that adds retro-inspired styling cues from the iconic 1990s 300ZX (Z32). The Heritage Edition made its debut at the annual ZCON gathering, one of the largest events for Z car enthusiasts.

Inside, the package adds unique kick plates, exclusive floor mats, and a Dusk Blue interior with dark matte chrome accents and open-pore wood trim. The model is finished in Midnight Purple, a legendary color from Nissan’s performance car history, with other paint options including Mineral Black, Radiant White, Grand Blue, and Dynamic Metal (the last three available with an optional contrasting Black Obsidian roof).

Beyond the Heritage Edition, the 2026 Z lineup continues with three trims: Sport, Performance, and NISMO.

  • The Z Sport features a 400-horsepower twin-turbo V6 with either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic. It comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, digital gauge cluster, 18-inch wheels, and driver-assist features like Intelligent Cruise Control. Pricing starts at $44,215.
  • The Z Performance adds a limited-slip differential, upgraded brakes, 19-inch wheels, and a Bose audio system.
  • At the top of the range, the Z NISMO boosts power to 420 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque, paired exclusively with a quicker-shifting automatic. It also gets NISMO-tuned suspension, aerodynamic upgrades, wider wheels with stickier tires, and Recaro seats. Pricing for the NISMO starts at $66,995.

The 2026 Nissan Z arrives at dealerships later this month.
