Mercedes-Maybach is stepping into uncharted territory with the debut of the 2026 SL 680 Monogram Series — the first two-seat roadster in Maybach’s history, and easily its sportiest model to date. Priced from $226,050 and arriving in U.S. dealerships in the second half of 2025, this open-top flagship blends Maybach’s hallmark craftsmanship with AMG-derived performance and a striking design that’s meant to turn heads on both the boulevard and the coastline.

The Monogram Series arrives in two specially curated design themes. White Ambience pairs Obsidian Black Metallic with MANUFAKTUR Moonlight White Magno, while Red Ambience matches the same black upper with a rich MANUFAKTUR Garnet Red Metallic lower. Both feature exclusive two-tone interiors, but buyers looking for something even more personal can tap into Maybach’s MANUFAKTUR program for custom paint finishes.
The SL 680 Monogram wears Maybach’s signature illuminated grille with an upright Mercedes star, plus rose-gold accents, chrome details, and 21-inch forged wheels. An optional PixelPaint hood pattern, a Maybach-pattern embossed soft top, and distinctive Maybach-logo taillights add to the exclusivity.

Inside, both design concepts feature sustainably tanned MANUFAKTUR Crystal White Exclusive Nappa leather that flows across the seats, door panels, and center console. Maybach-specific digital displays greet the driver with unique animations, while signature touches like a Maybach steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, and illuminated sills remind you this is no ordinary SL.

Under the long hood, a handcrafted 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 delivers 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. With standard 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, the SL 680 Monogram sprints from 0–60 mph in about 4.0 seconds. The chassis features active hydraulic roll stabilization and rear-axle steering for impressive agility, while four drive modes — Comfort, Maybach, Sport, and Individual — let the driver choose between laid-back cruising or spirited runs.
Despite the performance, this roadster stays true to Maybach’s comfort-first ethos. Extensive sound insulation, a well-insulated acoustic soft top, and a bespoke exhaust system ensure a serene ride whether the top is up or down.
