Audi is bringing a 700 horsepower concept to the Frankfurt Motor Show next month! We still have a few weeks until the show, but in the meantime we have a set of teaser sketches of the new Audi Quattro Sport e-tron concept.
The Quattro Sport e-tron concept looks pretty close to the Quattro concept that was unveiled in 2010, with only a few tweaks that make it look even meaner. What is even more exciting about the newest concept is that it is being reported that it packs a 700 horsepower powertrain that uses both a gas engine and an electric motor. The specs for the two motors haven’t been released, but it is expected that the gas engine will be the same 4.0L V8 that powers the RS6 and RS7 models.
In electric mode, the Quattro Sport e-tron concept can travel up to 22 miles. Auto Zeitung is reporting that the top speed will be over 205 mph and it will reach 0-62 mph in around three-seconds.
