The Honda CR-V is Honda’s best selling model, now that buyers prefer SUVs instead of sedans. Given its importance in the lineup, Honda has unveiled some updates to the 2025 CR-V, which should make it even more appealing.
The big news is the addition of the TrailSport trim level for the CR-V. The Honda Pilot and Passport are also available in the more rugged trim level, so Honda has added a few goodies to the CR-V TrailSport to make it more capable. While the Passport TrailSport gets things like an off-road tuned suspension and underbody skid plates, the CR-V TrailSport is more conservative with all-terrain tires, a tweaked all-wheel drive system and some styling changes. The CR-V TrailSport is also only available as a hybrid.
For the rest of the CR-V lineup, there are some much needed tech upgrades. The upper trim levels now get a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and the CR-V comes standard with a larger 9-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard as well as a wireless phone charger.
Honda has not announced the pricing for the 2026 Honda CR-V, but it is slated to arrive this spring.
