Mazda is getting ready to unveil its new mid-size SUV, the CX-70 on January 30. Mazda hasn’t released any big details about the 2025 CX-70, but we do know that it will be a two-row SUV that will be based on the same platform as the larger CX-90.
While we wait for all the details later this month, we have an idea of what the CX-70 will look like, since Mazda has already confirmed that it will look like a wide-body version of the CX-60 SUV that’s sold in Europe(pictured here). The CX-70 will be based on the same platform as the CX-90, so we expect it to also get the 3.3-liter inline-six and the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as its larger sibling.
The 2025 CX-70 is slated to go on sale sometime in 2024.
