The first BMW X5 rolled off the production line at BMW South Carolina plant on September 1, 1999. BMW has sold 3 million X5 models since then and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the X5, BMW has unveiled the 2025 X5 Silver Anniversary Edition.

It’s based on the X5 xDrive40i, but it stands out thanks to the styling details from the Sport and M Sport Designs, like its extended Shadowline trim and the illuminated kidney grille. It rides on unique 20-inch M Star-spoke bi-color wheels and the exterior gets aluminum-accented trim from the Sport Design.
It’s painted in BMW Individual Lime Rock Grey metallic paint with a special Silver Anniversary Edition badge on the tailgate. Inside the seats are available in Black, Cognac, Coffee, or Silverstone Sensafin. The interior also gets carbon fiber trim.
It also comes standard with the xOffroad Package, which adjusts the X5’s ride height, transmission, throttle mapping, traction control, etc. The package also has a 2-axle air suspension, a mechanical rear differential lock, and underbody protection plates.
Production of the 2025 X5 Silver Anniversary Edition starts in August 2024. The pricing starts at $81,075, including destination. Production is limited to about 1,000 units.
