BMW has unveiled the updated 2025 BMW M2 and the big news is that the M2 is getting a power boost in the form of an extra 20 horsepower. This means that it now has 473 hp on tap, while the torque rating stays the same at 406 pound-feet.

The inline-six is mated to either a six-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission. With the six-speed manual the M2 can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.1Â seconds. The 8-speed M Steptronic transmission cuts that time to 3.9 seconds.Â
The updates to the exterior are minimal with just new wheels and trim updates. It’s also in available in some new colors: Sao Paulo Yellow, Vegas Red metallic, Portimao Blue metallic, Skyscraper Grey metallic, Frozen Pure Grey metallic, and Frozen Portimao Blue II metallic.Â
Inside the 2025 M2 features a curved display which house the 12.3-inch information display and a 14.9-inch infotainment system, which now runs the BMW Operating System 8.5. The climate controls are now operated via the touchscreen and the M2 features a new steering wheel.
The 2025 BMW M2 is slated to arrive in August, with pricing starting at $66,075, including destination.
