Aston Martin has unveiled their new halo vehicle – meet the 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish. This third-generation Vanquish arrives with daring design, luxury, and, of course, tons of performance.

The new 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish is powered by a twin-turbo 5.2-lt V12, derived from the one found in the outgoing DBS Superleggera. This updated engine produces a whopping 824 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission powering the rear wheels via an electronic limited-slip differential. It also features numerous upgrades over the previous V12 with strengthened internals, new cylinder heads, and exhaust-driven turbochargers with an over-boost function.

The new Vanquish is able to make the run from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and reach a stop seep of 214 mph, with 100 mph arriving in just 6.2 seconds. Notably, it achieves this performance with no hybridization of any kind making it just about as traditional of a performance experience as you can get these days.

The 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish arrives several inches longer than the outgoing halo car, the DBS, with an overall length of 191 inches as opposed to the DBS’ 185.6. Most of this new length can be found in a longer hood that gives the Vanquish an even more dramatic profile.

The front of the new Vanquish features a larger grille and new LED matrix headlights, though the real news is at the back. Head to the rear, and things get interesting with a totally new tail design that features what the brand is calling a “Kamm tail” and seven LED light blades along either side serving as taillights. It’s a big departure from the brand’s traditional rear-end styling and bares a bit of the same retro-future vibe as Aston’s new limited edition Valour model.

Like other recent new Aston Martins, the new Vanquish features a richly finished interior with plenty of upscale materials and brilliant detailing. Buyers will find a 10.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.3-inch central infotainment touchscreen that features upgraded online connectivity as well as wireless Apple CarPlay. Aston was also very happy to point out the plethora of physical controls found around the cabin that allow for the easier adjustment of vehicle settings while in motion. A 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system also comes standard.

The 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish is a strict two-seater with a large carbon fiber strut brace occupying the space where the rear seats would have gone. Standard sports bucket seats can be upgraded to optional performance seats that feature carbon-fiber seat backs. A glass roof comes standard, with buyers able to spec a carbon fiber roof to save even more weight.

From a dynamic standpoint, the 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish benefits from a 75% increase in lateral stiffness over the outgoing DBS. This newfound stiffness comes thanks to a new front underbody tray, new front crossmembers, and repositioned crossmember supports. A double-wishbone front suspension is joined by a multi-link arrangement in the rear to which engineers have fitted Bilstein DTX dampers, specially tuned for the Vanquish. Drivers will be able to choose between GT, Sports, and Sports+ drive modes that change the damping force depending on the mode selected.

The new Vanquish also gets a recalibrated power steering system with a better on-center feel, while a corner braking feature dials up the rear-end braking, allowing the driver to brake later when entering a corner.

Lightweight 21-inch forged alloy wheels with bespoke Pirelli P Zero tires can be found at each corner, along with carbon-ceramic brake rotors as standard. Those new carbon-ceramic brakes work with the antilock braking system and four new electric controllers to constantly monitor traction levels and ensure the braking system is always operating as efficiently as possible. Lastly, buyers will have the choice between a stainless steel or a titanium exhaust system, the latter of which saves 23 pounds.

Aston plans to build fewer than 1,000 examples of the new Vanquish annually when it goes on sale in the fourth quarter of this year, with pricing details to be announced closer to that time.
