Acura is finally expanding its SUV lineup with the addition of a new entry-level SUV, called the ADX. The 2025 Acura ADX is based on the same platform as the Honda HR-V, but also borrows its turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine from the Integra. You can basically look a the ADX as the combination of the HR-V and Integra into a stylish compact SUV.
On the outside the ADX takes its styling cues from the Integra, especially at the front, while the rear gets a look that’s similar to the Acura ZDX. From the rear its also easy to see that the ADX shares some of its DNA with the HR-V. Overall, the ADX is a stylish compact SUV, which should be able to stand out in the growing segment, which includes models like the Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1 and Audi Q3.
Inside the ADX’s interior is not a far stretch from the Integra, which is a good thing. It comes standard with a moonroof, dual-zone climate controls, rear air conditioning vents and heated front body stabilizing seats. The ADX A-Spec adds ultrasuede seats a panoramic moonroof, ventilated front seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, ambient LED lighting, stainless sport pedals, red gauge needles, red contrast stitching and a chrome shift knob. The ADX A-Spec with Advance Package model adds leather seats with ultrasuede inserts, a heated steering wheel, surround-view camera and a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system.
On the tech front the ADX comes standard with a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster and a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The ADX A-Spec with Advance Package adds Google built-in, which provides access to apps like Google Assistant, Google Maps and more on Google Play.
Under the hood, the ADX features a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder, which is the same engine that powers the Integra. It’s mated to a CVT transmission and all-wheel drive is optional. The all-wheel drive system can send up to 50 percent of the torque to the rear wheels.
The 2025 Acura ADX is slated to arrive in early 2025 and its price will start in the mid-$30,000s.
