Genesis has announced the 2024 Genesis GV60, adding a new base RWD version and more accessible starting price to their quirky crossover EV.

As the EV wars heat up, automakers have been keen to offer lower starting prices to stay competitive, and Genesis is doing just that with the 2024 Genesis GV60, announcing a new “Standard RWD” model that features a 168kW electric motor in the rear and up to 294 miles of range at much lower $52,000 starting price.

Standard equipment for all 2024 Genesis GV60s, including this new Standard RWD version, remains generous. Customers will find a wealth of features such as heated front seats, adjustable interior ambient lighting, acoustic laminated front side windows, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and fingerprint and face authentication.

2024 Genesis GV60 Advanced AWD buyers will find numerous upgrades, including ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, 20-inch alloy wheels, leather seating surfaces, and acoustic lamination for the rear windows.

Stepping up to the 2024 Genesis GV60 Performance AWD will net buyers even more with alloy pedals, heated rear seats, Nappa Leather seating surfaces, and more powerful 160kW front and rear electric motors for blazing fast performance.

All 2024 Genesis GV60s feature will feature a 77.4 kWh battery.

2024 Genesis GV60s buyers will also find a host of new features including a Wi-Fi hotspot, Genesis Digital Key 2, Highway Drive Assist II, and Advanced Forward Collision Avoidance-Assist.

Pricing for higher trims has increased with the 2024 Genesis GV60 Advanced AWD now starting at $60,550 (excluding $1,195 destination fee), up from $59,290 from the 2023 model. Likewise, the GV60 Performance AWD now comes with a higher $69,550 (excluding $1,195 destination fee) MSRP, up from $68,290 for the 2023 model year.

The 2024 Genesis GV60 Standard RWD and Advanced AWD are now available in select states, while the 2024 Genesis GV60 Performance AWD’s availability will be announced at a later date.
