BMW has unveiled the 2024 BMW XM Label Red, which is the most powerful M model yet. It’s powered by a hybrid powertrain that generates a combined 738 horsepower and it can accelerate from 0-60 mph in a quick 3.7 seconds.

The BMW XM Label Red is going to make its debut this month at the Shanghai Motor Show and production is slated to begin in August 2023.

It’s powered by a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 with 577 hp, which is 94 more hp than the standard XM. It has a torque rating of 553 pound-feet, which is an increase of 74 lb-ft. The electric motor is integrated into the 8-speed transmission. It adds up to 194 hp and 206 lb-ft. of torque. A pre-gearing stage is used to increase the torque produced by the motor to a maximum of 332 lb-ft at the transmission input for the motor.

The XM Label Red has a top speed of 155 mph or 175 mph with the M Driver’s Package.

Even with all that power, there’s a nice green aspect of the powertrain. The XM Label Red can travel up to 30 miles in electric mode at speeds up to 87 mph. The battery can be charged from 0-100% in 3.25 hours.

Other performance goodies include an adaptive M suspension, Integral Active Steering and the M Sport braking system.

2024 BMW XM Label Red

The XM Label Red stands out with an available Toronto Red metallic accent band in place of the standard black. The badging and wheel inserts also are red. The BMW XM Label Red rides on 23-inch light-alloy wheels, with 22-inch wheels available as a no-cost option. The surrounds for the BMW M kidney grille and diffuser elements are finished in black high-gloss.

BMW has not announced the pricing for the 2024 BMW XM Label Red.
