BMW has unveiled the most powerful version of the X1 yet, the X1 M35i xDrive, which not only gets more power under the hood, but also more aggressive styling.

Under the hood the 2024 X1 M351 xDrive is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that generates 312 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a seven-speed double clutch transmission with a mechanical limited-slip differential. The power is sent to all four wheels via the xDrive all-wheel drive system. All that extra power gives the sportiest X1 a 0-60 mph time of 5.2 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. You’ll also enjoy the way that powertrain sounds thanks to the M-specific exhaust system. The BMW X1 M35i xDrive is the first M performance model to feature two pairs of twin tailpipes.
Stopping power is provided by an integrated braking system and it’s also the first M performance model to offer optional M Compound brakes, comprising four-piston, fixed-caliper brakes with 15.2-inch drilled discs at the front wheels and single-piston, floating-caliper units with integrated parking brake and 13.0-inch discs at the rear.
On the outside, the X1 M35i stands out with its more aggressive face with larger air intakes. It also gets more prominent side skirt extensions, a model-specific roof spoiler, and a rear apron with diffuser. Inside there are optional M sport seats, an Alcantara-trimmed instrument panel, and an anthracite-colored headliner. The 2024 BMW X1 M35i xDrive is BMW’s first model to feature the latest iDrive 9 infotainment system.
The pricing for the 2024 BMW X1 M35i xDrive starts at $50,895.
