The 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 just got a bit more attainable thanks to the introduction of a new entry-level model with a smaller battery. The 2023 ID.4 now starts at $38,790, including destination.
The entry-level ID.4 is powered by a single 201 horsepower electric motor that powers the rear wheels and a 62-kWh battery pack. That smaller battery means that the base ID.4 only has a 208 mile driving range. It comes standard with a 12-inch touchscreen, 19-inch wheels and heated seats.
For buyers that want more power and range, the ID.4 Pro gets a 82-kWh pack and 295 horsepower. The ID.4 Pro has a range up to 275 miles and starts at $43,790. The ID.4 S adds a heated steering wheel, 12-way power seats, a panoramic glass roof, 20-inch wheels, ambient lighting and a power tailgate. The ID.4 Pro S can cost as much as $55,290.
There are a few updates to the 2023 ID.4, like new wheels, a restyled center console and some new color options.
