2023 Toyota Corolla

The 2023 Corolla now comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 169 horsepower, which replaces the 139-hp 1.8-liter engine. The 2023 Corolla Hybrid gets a more powerful powertrain that mates a 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with two motor-generators through a planetary-type CVT. The hybrid also gets a new lithium-ion battery that’s located under the rear seat. All-wheel drive is also optional on the Corolla Hybrid. Lastly Toyota has finally added more trim levels for the Corolla Hybrid, since it’s now available in LE, SE and XLE versions.

On the outside the front fascia has been redesigned, the Corolla LE gets a new rear bumper design, while the SE and XSE get a rear sport diffuser and new 18-inch Gloss Graphite-colored alloy wheels.

On the safety front, the 2023 Corolla gets the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system, which features automatic emergency braking, lane departure alert with lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane tracing assist, road sign recognition and automatic high beams.
