BMW has announced that the 2023 BMW M8 will only be available as Competition models when they arrive later this spring. Buyers will again be able to choose from the M8 Competition Coupe, Convertible or Gran Coupe.

The BMW M8 Competition is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with 617 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The M8 Competition can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 190 mph with the M Driver’s Package.

Five new colors have been added to the color palate: Skyscraper Grey metallic, Brooklyn Grey metallic, Isle of Man Green metallic, Tanzanite Blue II metallic and Frozen Pure Grey metallic. At the front the adaptive LED headlights with Laserlight now stand out more with M Shadowline inserts.

Inside there are new optional M Carbon bucket seats.

Production of the 2023 M8 Competition kicks off in March.
