Audi has released a teaser of the updated e-tron models, which will now be called the Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron. The teaser doesn’t give us a lot to look at, since all we can really make is the overall shape of both electric SUVs and the illuminated taillights.

At least the new name change will eliminate any confusion in Audi’s e-tron lineup, which also consists of the Q4 e-tron and e-tron GT.

We’ll have to wait for all the details on November 9, but it’s rumored that the Q8 e-tron will get a new battery and updated electric motors, which should get the driving range closer to 300 miles, up from the current 222 mile range.

The e-tron lineup is going to continue to expand in the future, with new additions, like the A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron.
