The 2021 Mazda6 has received a few updates for the new model year, which includes a bit more torque from its turbocharged engine as well as some tech upgrades.

2021 Mazda6

The 2021 Mazda6 is available with two engines, a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine which is unchanged or a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. The turbocharged engine now has an extra 10 pound-feet of torque for a total of 320 with 93 octane fuel. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Mazda has not released any updates about the diesel engine that it announced a while back.

The Mazda6 isn’t getting the updated infotainment system, like the 2021 CX-5, but it does come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless Apple CarPlay has been added to the Grand Touring and Signature trim levels.

Lastly there’s also the new Carbon Edition, which comes exclusively in polymetal grey with a gloss black rear lip spoiler, gloss black door mirrors and 19-inch black metallic aluminum alloy wheels. Inside there are red leather seats with black cross stitching and black hairline interior accents on the dash and door panels.

The 2021 Mazda6 is available in six trim levels: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, Carbon Edition and Signature. The pricing starts at $25,270 with the Mazda6 Signature topping out at $36,695.
