Cadillac is giving the 2021 CT4 and CT5 some nice upgrades for the new model year, with the biggest updates being improved tech features.

2021 Cadillac CT5 with Enhanced Super Cruise

Inside the biggest update is a new available high-definition 12-inch digital instrument cluster. Sirius XM with 360L has also been added.

Cadillac has also added its Enhanced Super Cruise system with Lane Change on Demand functionality to the CT4 and CT5 Premium Luxury and V-Series models.

There are also some safety upgrades as well, like a new Buckle to Drive feature. If the driver’s seat belt is not buckled when the car starts and Buckle to Drive is turned on, this feature will prevent the shifter from leaving Park for up to 20 seconds, or until the driver’s seat belt is buckled. The feature comes automatically enabled from the factory, but it can be turned off.

Forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, automatic emergency braking and the Safety Alert seat now come standard on the CT4 and CT5.

It comes exclusively in Diamond Sky Metallic and the front grille gets bright accents. It also adds Brembo V Performance front brakes with blue brake calipers, and buyers can choose from alloy wheels with a diamond cut/ midnight silver finish or a polished/ dark android gloss finish. Inside the seats are wrapped in sky cool gray/ jet black leather and there’s a Centaurus Finish Aluminum trim on the CT4 and Galaxy Finish Wood on the CT5. It’s finished off with alloy pedals.

Lastly the 2021 CT4-V and CT5-V models get upgraded Modena leather on the steering wheel and a standard leather-wrapped horn pad. On the CT4-V, the center console trim has been updated from aluminum to carbon fiber. On both models, the front brake calipers are now V Performance branded with the V-Series logo. The V-Series models are also available in a new color called Rift Metallic.

For buyers that want to up the performance on the Sport trim, some V-Series parts can be added. The CT5 Sport trim now offers an available V Performance package, which includes an upgraded performance suspension, Magnetic Ride Control and mechanical limited-slip differential. Brembo V Performance front brakes are also available on the Sport trim for both CT4 and CT5, with a choice of red or blue calipers.
