The Toyota Yaris hatchback is getting a big revamp for the 2020 model year. Toyota has already sold the Yaris sedan, which is a rebadged Mazda 2 for a few years and now it’s decided to sell a rebadged version of the hatchback as well here as a replacement for the old Yaris hatchback.
Toyota unveiled the 2020 Yaris hatchback a few months ago and now we’ve learned how much it will cost. The 2020 Yaris hatchback will only be available in two trim levels, LE and XLE. The LE version is priced at $18,705, while the XLE is priced at $19,705. Both versions are powered by the same 106-hp 1.5L four-cylinder engine that’s mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2020 Yaris hatchback comes standard with 16-inch wheels, fog lamps, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and automatic emergency braking. The XLE trim adds leatherette seats, automatic LED headlamps, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
