Toyota is finally going to reveal the 2020 Toyota Supra at the Detroit Auto Show in January, but a leaked parts guide is giving us another preview of resurrected Supra.
The leaked order guide was posted on the SupraMKV forums, which reveals some of the design details about the 2020 Toyota Supra. The guide also provides a preview of the 2020 Supra’s interior, which is a big deal, since Toyota has only teased the exterior of the new Supra.
The order guide also states that the 2020 Supra will be offered with three different engines, but only two of them will be offered in the US. The base Supra 20i model is powered by BMW’s 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, but it’s only going to be an option in Europe. Buyers in the US will be able to choose from the Supra 30i model, which is also powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder, or the range topping Supra 40i that is powered by a turbocharged 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine.
All three engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, but there is a rumor that a manual might be offered.
The parts guide also reveals the Supra’s badge, which is the exact same as the last generation Supra.
Inside we can see that the gearshift looks like it came straight from BMW, while the layout of the dashboard looks pretty simple, without a large digital screen for the infotainment system. A head-up display is on the options list, while the instrument cluster will be all digital.
