The 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata is going to arrive in showrooms in February and Mazda has announced the small list of upgrades for its iconic roadster.

The 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata will continue to be offered in Sport, Club and Grand Touring trim levels if you choose the soft top version, while the RF version is only available in Club and Grand Touring trim levels.

The base MX-5 Sport now comes standard with more i-Activsense safety features, which includes Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Smart City Brake Support and Lane Departure Warning System. The 2020 MX-5 Miata also receives updated Mazda badging, fonts and a new key fob design.

Step up to the MX-5 Miata Club and you’ll get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. When equipped with manual transmission, the Club trim level adds a limited-slip differential, Bilstein dampers, front shock tower brace and sport-tuned suspension. The Club trim level also adds a Bose nine-speaker audio system, SiriusXM radio and LED daytime running lights. The MX-5 Club is equipped with heated black cloth-trimmed seats with silver stitching, 17-inch Metallic Black aluminum alloy wheels, front black air dam, black rear lip spoiler and black interior accents and vinyl leather.

If you want to amp up the performance more, the MX-5 Miata Club is also available with a Brembo/BBS Recaro Package that adds Brembo front brakes, BBS 17-inch Dark Gunmetal wheels, heated Recaro Sports Seats and a black aero kit that includes side sill extensions and rear bumper skirt. For the MX-5 Club RF also gets a hand-painted black roof.

The top spec Grand Touring trim level with the manual transmission gets the same limited-slip differential, Bilstein dampers, front shock tower brace and sport-tuned suspension as the MX-5 Club. Buyers can also choose a new gray cloth soft top and Red Nappa leather interior with the Grand Touring model. It also gets black with stainless steel door sills and SiriusXM. The Grand Touring models come standard with heated leather seats, a navigation system, 17-inch Dark Silver aluminum alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, automatic climate control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, Traffic Sign Recognition, Adaptive Front-lighting System and High Beam Control.

Lastly there’s one new color option, Polymetal Gray.

The 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata starts at $26,580.
