The Kia Forte just got a bit sportier with the arrival of the 2020 Kia Forte GT, which debuted today at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

For starters, the 2020 Forte GT Output is powered by a turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft. of torque which can be mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The Forte GT also gets larger front disc brakes and sway bars and it’s available with sportier 225/40R-18 Michelin Pilot Sport Summer tires.

On the outside the Forte GT also gets more aggressive front and rear front and rear fascias, a sport tuned dual exhaust and 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights. Inside there’s new red contrast stitching and LED ambient interior lighting with an illuminated GT dash inlay.

The 2020 Forte GT is also available with GT1 and GT2 packages. The GT1 package adds LED overhead lighting, a power sunroof, a 320-watt Harman Kardon premium eight-speaker audio system, wireless charging, a 4.2-inch center LCD screen, dual-zone full automatic air conditioning. The GT2 package adds even more features, like heated and ventilated seats and a 10-way power driver’s seat.

If the Forte GT is a bit too much for you, the Forte GT-Line is available with all the style of the Forte GT, but with a 147 horsepower 2.0L four-cylinder engine.
